A friend of mine has an epileptic brother, and she and her other brother are trying to raise funds to support research into treating epilepsy.

If you can't donate directly, maybe you can offer crafts for sale and donate the profit?

I myself am selling my Teru Teru Bozu keyrings with all profits going toward Epilepsy Research.  
Eddie O'Keefe feels so strongly about this that he is shaving his head!  Devotion like that deserves our support, don't you think?

And hey, I don't suppose any of our resident hat makers might be willing to donate something to cover his shaved head?  
Scarves would also work.
